Our Projects
EA Astrovolt is developing multiple renewable energy projects across East Africa, focusing on solar, geothermal, and battery storage solutions to create a sustainable energy future.
50MW Solar Farm
Located in Kenya’s Rift Valley, this large-scale solar farm harnesses the abundant sunlight of East Africa to generate clean, renewable electricity. The project utilizes advanced photovoltaic technology and smart grid integration to maximize energy production and distribution efficiency.
25MW Geothermal Plant
Utilizing East Africa’s rich geothermal resources, this plant taps into the natural heat beneath the Earth’s surface to generate consistent, reliable power regardless of weather conditions. The facility employs cutting-edge technology to minimize environmental impact while maximizing energy output.
10MW/40MWh Battery Storage
Our advanced battery storage system in Tanzania provides critical grid stability and energy security. This state-of-the-art facility stores excess energy during peak production periods and releases it during high demand, ensuring a reliable power supply and enabling greater integration of renewable energy sources.
Mini-grid Installations
Our mini-grid projects bring clean, reliable electricity to remote communities across East Africa. These self-contained power systems combine solar generation with battery storage to provide sustainable energy access, powering homes, schools, healthcare facilities, and small businesses in areas previously without electricity.
Project Portfolio
EA Astrovolt’s project portfolio spans 12 African countries, showcasing a diverse mix of renewable energy developments at utility scale. From expansive solar PV farms to pioneering geothermal plants and green hydrogen ventures, our projects are tailored to each host country’s needs.
